Madly In Love
I just can't believe how fast time goes by! Lydia will be 8 weeks old this week, and she is growing like a weed! She continues to eat like she is constantly starving! Which is being reflected in her size, she is already in 3-6 month clothing! She has started to smile which is absolutely amazing! Just after she wakes up she is full of smiles! And occasionally we'll get a little giggle out of her as well!
She still isn't sleeping to well, but she is so cute that I think we'll forgive her!
Mae is still just madly in love with her! I thought that after the newness wore off she would start to kind of ignore her and go back to entertaining herself, but she still is constantly worried about her baby sister, wants to know what she is doing and why, does she like that or not? Can I kiss her, can I hug her, can I hold her? Its a little intense, but amazingly cute!
Halloween
Little Miss Mae was going to be a princess for Halloween, but every time she saw an Ironman commercial on TV she got so excited and said I want to be Ironman for Halloween. Her dad thought that was so awesome so he surprised her with an Ironman costume. It was pretty funny, the day he brought it home she wore it the rest of the day and was running around capturing bad guys to put in jail.

The first time Mae got to hold her, it was love at first sight! She is the most doting and amazing sister!
The night before you leave the hospital they do a little going home dinner, its kind of cheesy but it was pretty fun for Cody & I!

Happy 4th Birthday Miss Evie Mae Farnsworth!
And then that night we had a surprise party for her! A few weeks before she had asked me if we could have a surprise party for the babys birthday. And I told her that it wasn't really going to be that kind of a birthday this year! So she said "you can have prize party for me! it goes like this, I walk in and you jump out and yell prize!!"
So we had everyone meet at my moms house a few minutes before us, we walked in and everyone yelled surprise! and Mae asks, why you all hiding? It was so hilarious!
Being a new mother of two I am a little spacey these days and forgot my camera! I will post some pics soon of the amazing cake my sister in law made for Mae. Mae requested a unicorn cake with a pink horn. Kylee and Spencer sure delivered on that request! It was amazing!

Preschool Open house
Before & After!!!
The first night we actually owned the house we felt like we should be a little productive, so Cody replaced about 15 burnt out light bulbs! (Notice he is still smiling here)
My dad and Tasha were pretty excited about our yard, let me tell you we have a ton of bushes, flowers, trees etc.! And they both really love landscaping, so the first weekend they came over and started the overhaul! No one had lived here for a year so the yard was extremely overgrown!
Brother in law Spencer, his wife Kylee was around here somewhere too!
We changed the light fixtures up a bit, I actually stole this one from my aunt Kims house when they renovated!
Before
After
WoW! What were they thinking? This wallpaper was a little much for me! My mom & Aunt Joni spent a good amount of time pulling that down, and I am so grateful!
They had already mostly redone this bathroom as well, it was all stark white so we painted it green and thats about it!
This room turned into the biggest nightmare of all! At some point they had redone some plumbing and left it all exposed, we thought we would just be able to cover it up. Well turns out it had some issues and they ended up having to tear the whole wall out! Somehow I didn't get pics of that! My dad had to redo a whole bunch of plumbing, and then Cody had to rebuild the entire wall. It was definitely a project we hadn't been anticipating! But all is well and now it looks real pretty!
Before
I'm not sure the pictures do it justice! But at least you get a little taste of where we came from and what it has become!
So for the most part the house is pretty well done! We still need some furniture and some little decorations but I'm happy to say that most the work is done! We never could have anticipated how much work it was going to take to get it to this point, I'm so grateful for a hard working husband and great family who pitched in to help make our vision a reality! Even though it has been so hard I'm so grateful for the memories we've made making this our home!
