Heaven Sent

These tasty little treats have gotten me through a lot! A bad day can be turned upside down but one of these "Little devils" from Dippidee..... hmmm delicious!

Before & After!

I'm so lucky to have a handy husband who goes along with my fun decorating ideas! So our bedroom, I've never really loved it... our furniture was all stuff we had from before we got married. We did get a fun comforter but that was it. So we decided to paint! EVERYTHING!

We painted the walls and all of the furniture! I even painted the walls 5 times! First 3 coats were done and I decided I hated the paint, so back to the paint store for grey clouds! Still didn't quite nail it but I still think it looks pretty good! And eventually I think I'll get a white comforter for my bed but we already had this one and it looks alright!!
So the bathroom! ahhh... the bathroom has never been what we wanted it to be. We had this beautiful spa like bathroom in mind... ya not so much. It just didn't get there.I think we finally achieved it! Ha ha I think Cody's just thinking it will help the house sell but I'm glad we get to actually enjoy the bathroom we envisioned while were here!

Retro Night!

My Cute friend Cara is moving away to Texas, so we got together to have one last FUN, Crazy night!

Wickedly Wonderful!

Arriving for the experience of a lifetime!Here we are in our seats, goofing off waiting for the experience to begin!

You can kind of see the set in the background, it was amazing! The entire show was absolutely incredible! I couldn't believe it had been 3 hours by the time it ended I was so enthralled it seemed like no time at all had passed! I can't tell you how much I loved it! It was so fun!! Thanks to the wonderful ladies I was able to go it! It was a blast!

Easter Egg Fun

Mae had so much fun painting Easter eggs! She painted each egg by hand with a paint brush and she did over 2 dozen eggs. And was still saying " More egg! More egg!" It was so fun!


The 3 glittery ones were the only ones Cody and I were allowed to do, once she realized we were stealing eggs it was all over!

The obsession begins!

Today we were getting ready to go, Mae was all set but I told her to hold on cause Mommy needed to get her purse. "Purse, Purse, Mae's purse?" She started hopping around the kitchen asking for her purse. So I pull out her new Easter purse and she gets so excited, puts it on her arm and walks to the door. She carried it like that all through the store! One lady thought she was so cute she even gave her a nickel to carry in her purse. It was so cute! I guess I've taught her well!! Shoes and purses are a girls best friend!

Kadence

Today it has been five years since my amazing daughter Kadence passed away. Scrapbooking last week we came across these pictures and I have been thinking about the day these pictures where taken. I'd been there most of the day, and as was the routine I would go home late afternoon. Cody and I would grab something to eat and then he and I would head back to the hospital. We walk in and the first thing I notice is this huge hidious purple flower proturding from her chest. Just as I'm about to express my horror, the nurse walks over.
"Oh my gosh we got so lucky today I was so excited when I found this cute dress in the laundry!"
She was so sweet! and really was excited to make Kadence look cute and like a regular baby. And I really did appreciate her excitement, but gosh what a dress! But she was so alert and I had to prove that there really are clothes like this out there!
This is also considered the Grandma Gurt face. I'm not really sure what that means since I never got to meet Cody's great Grandma Gurt, but here it is!

Happy Birthday to my Hubby!!

So I'm a big slacker and didn't ever blog Happy Birthday to Cody! It was the big 24 this year! I can't believe it!

My Little Froggy

My little Mae has taken to pretending quite a bit lately. She acts like a puppy when shes hungry, a bunny when shes excited, and a frog to fill in the gaps. Yesterday were walking through Office Depot, and I realize that Mae has taken a seat. I told her to get up and come on. She just stared at me. So I turned the other way and took a few steps, and RIBBIT RIBBIT! I had a little froggy following me! It was so cute! So I continued through the store with little froggy ribbiting the entire way.

The amazing Kim Orlandini!

So not only is Cassie an amazing scrapbooker, she is also a great photographer! She is going through and editing some of our favorite photos so that we can have some that aren't so hospitaly. Her good friend Kim is an amazing photographer who has kind of been mentoring her, so she asked Kim to take a look at one of our photos, and her are the amazing things she was able to do!
